Change & Release Manager - DevOps - SC Cleared - 12 month contract (inside IR35) - Hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced Change & Release Manager to join our client, a well-known public sector body. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the change and release management within their DevOps team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement change and release management strategies that align with organisational goals and policies.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling, planning, and execution of software releases and changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and IT support, to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analysis to evaluate the effects of proposed changes.
  • Monitor the progress of releases and changes, ensuring timely resolution of issues and communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation related to change requests, release notes, and deployment plans.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Change and Release Management Experience: previously managed complex change and release processes within large organisations, preferably in the public sector.
