About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team at MICHELIN Connected Fleet. As a key member of our Agile Squads, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth deployment of new features and releases across our global system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with international Agile Squads to plan and execute releases, ensuring timely and successful deployment of new features.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our CI/CD pipelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Work closely with Specialism Leads/Component Owners to schedule releases, communicate with stakeholders, and anticipate upcoming releases.
  • Own the notification process, implementing improvements to support faster releases and minimizing customer impact.
  • Supervise and participate in out-of-hours releases, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to our global customer base.
  • Liaise with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure What's New is published where appropriate, enhancing our customer experience.
  • Maintain a comprehensive set of release metrics, analyzing risks and mitigating them through phased releases with the squads and Test & Release Manager.
  • Continuously improve skill set and domain knowledge, sharing knowledge and improvements with the team.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps manager to enhance the release pipeline and tooling, reducing lead time from QA to Live and ensuring zero release failures.
  • Work closely with the Service Account Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience and optimize MCF's NPS performance.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Software Delivery Life Cycles in an Agile Scrum context.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience leading releases on multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Keen self-improvement attitude and desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Good attention to detail and experience with service management and defect management.
  • Project management experience, able to manage conflicting priorities.
