Join Our Team as a Release Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at MICHELIN Connected Fleet. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products and services.

About the Role

The Release Manager will be responsible for planning and scheduling all releases, working closely with international Agile Squads to ensure that new features are incrementally deployed and released as part of the global MCF system. You will also be responsible for understanding and managing the impact of deployments on a global customer base, planning a release schedule that minimises customer impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule all releases with Specialism Leads/Component Owners and communicate with all stakeholders
  • Understand and manage the impact of deployments on a global customer base, planning a release schedule that minimises customer impact
  • Work with the Test & Release Manager and TechOps to ensure the adequate resource is available to support out-of-office hours releases
  • Analyse risks and mitigate those risks by planning phased releases with the squads and Test & Release Manager
  • Share knowledge and improvements with Test & Release Manager, DevOps manager, TechOps manager and squads
  • Work alongside the Service Account Manager to deliver an excellent customer experience and optimise MCF's NPS performance
Requirements
  • Strong experience of Software Delivery Life Cycles in an Agile Scrum context
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills & ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience with service management
  • Experience with defect management
  • Project management experience, able to manage conflicting priorities
