We are seeking an experienced Trading Underwriter to join our team at Halmer Recruit. As a Trading Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in managing business partner relationships and ensuring the successful underwriting of standard products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business partners to deliver high standards of service and ensure department KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to the decision-making process and drive sustainable profitable growth through business partners.
  • Negotiate with business partners around rates and renewals, and ensure exposure monitoring, analysis, and interpretation are carried out effectively.
  • Take a leading role in supporting business partners in finding the right solution and take an active leadership role in discussing underwriting implications and insurance risks.
  • Ensure all obligations to internal and external stakeholders are met in good time.
