About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safeguarding Support Administrator to join our team at the North East & North Cumbria ICB. As a key member of our Local Safeguarding Delivery Team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our safeguarding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Local Safeguarding Delivery Team, including monitoring of electronic mailboxes and management of complex diaries.
  • Act as a first point of contact for safeguarding enquiries and direct specific enquiries to the relevant team member.
  • Develop an understanding of the responsibilities of the Safeguarding team to deal appropriately with queries and routine matters.
  • Perform general administrative duties in support of the team and deliver against those areas of work identified in the job description.
  • Support the team with gathering information and undertaking confidential enquiries as necessary for the Designated Professionals and Safeguarding team.
Requirements
  • RSA 3 or NVQ 3 level or equivalent, or significant administrative and office work experience and acquired knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Significant secretarial and administrative experience.
  • Experience using a range of work procedures and practices, the majority of which are non-routine.
