We are recruiting a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Thomas Middlecott Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for supporting pupils and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils and their families in school, community, and home settings
- Provide support for staff, particularly when dealing with challenging or vulnerable pupils and families
- Coordinate and complete EHAs in school for families
- Coordinate school support for families and liaise with other agencies
Requirements:
- Relevant family work or pastoral support experience
- Professional qualification relevant to the post (e.g. social work, teaching, youth work)
- GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Driver's license and business insurance
- Significant experience of direct work with children and families
- Experience of working with families subject to child protection processes
