Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils and their families in school, community, and home settings
  • Provide support for staff, particularly when dealing with challenging or vulnerable pupils and families
  • Coordinate and complete EHAs in school for families
  • Coordinate school support for families and liaise with other agencies

Requirements:

  • Relevant family work or pastoral support experience
  • Professional qualification relevant to the post (e.g. social work, teaching, youth work)
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Driver's license and business insurance
  • Significant experience of direct work with children and families
  • Experience of working with families subject to child protection processes
