Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at Jagex. As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data. This role offers a huge amount of scope and a chance to put your stamp on the cloud security function at Jagex.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading international games company and contribute to the development of our forever game IPs. You will have the opportunity to design and implement robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of security measures and best practices for AWS and Azure environments.
  • Develop, document, and maintain security processes, incident response plans, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises.
  • Ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with AWS services, containers, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
  • Familiarity with automated security processes such as CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure-as-code security, and automated patch management.
  • Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CISSP or equivalent.
