Job Description:
SiFive is a pioneering technology company that introduced RISC-V to the world. We are committed to delivering high-performance and data-intensive applications that transform the future of computing. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the security roadmap for our entire IP portfolio, including Essential, Intelligence, Performance, and Automotive IPs. You will work closely with various teams, including Product, Core, SoC platform, and software architects, to develop groundbreaking new security features. Additionally, you will engage with customers and partners to determine the future of platform security on RISC-V and collaborate with the RISC-V International Association to drive the state of the art of computer security forward.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop platform security requirements and architecture for security features.
  • Collaborate with micro-architects, SoC architects, and performance architects to develop microarchitecture for security features.
  • Assess core microarchitecture to identify security vulnerabilities and define countermeasures.

Interface with Customers:
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, use cases, and resolve concerns/issues.

Requirements:
  • Experience in SoC design flow, including spec definition, microarchitecture design, and performance modeling.
  • Familiarity with common security threat models.
  • Familiarity with micro-architectural side-channel attacks and mitigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with secure enclave solutions for high-end CPUs.
  • Familiarity with automotive security considerations and solutions.
  • Familiarity with mobile device security considerations and solutions.
  • Familiarity with ROP and JOP exploitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with security certification processes and methodologies, such as Common Criteria, PSA, SESIP, FIPS 140-3.
  • Familiarity with common cryptographic algorithms and systems.
  • Basic understanding of public key cryptography.
