About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop VHDL-based FPGA solutions for new products.
  • Integrate FPGA solutions with wider software solutions.
  • Develop configuration control and CI/CD processes for FPGA designs integrated with software.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team in developing new system architectures.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, or other relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in design and delivery of complex FPGA-based systems.
  • Expertise in VHDL RTL design, synthesis, place/route, and timing closure.
  • Strong understanding of Xilinx FPGA architectures and software experience with C or Python.
  • Able to translate maths algorithms and map them to FPGA architectures for area and performance.
  • Experience in integrating and bringing up hardware systems on Linux or Windows based systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Xilinx FPGA SoC systems expertise.
  • Intel (Altera) architectures (including SoC) knowledge.
  • Verilog skills.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms.
  • Product/device/security approvals knowledge.
