Job Overview

The Education Authority seeks an experienced Administrative Coordinator to manage the school office and staff. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on providing administrative support to the Principal, staff, and Board of Governors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff, including management and allocation of duties;
  • Provide administrative, clerical, and secretarial support;
  • Develop and maintain manual and computerized information systems;
  • Manage finance, including receipt and accounting for cash;
  • Operate the telephone/switchboard and provide hospitality as required;

Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 or BTEC National in Business/Administration or Finance, or equivalent;
  • Minimum two years' experience in an administrative role, or five years' experience with management and supervision skills;
  • Demonstrable experience in purchasing and supplies administration;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure;
  • People management and team skills to motivate and manage others;

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus flexible working options available.
