We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment. This exciting role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art automated distribution centre, utilizing your expertise in electro-mechanical engineering, control systems, and problem analysis.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including electro-mechanical repairs, control system adjustments, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. Additionally, they will contribute to improving processes and implementing continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess Level 3 engineering qualifications, acquired through a fully apprenticeship-trained program. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems from a manufacturing or distribution environment is essential, along with experience working with PLCs, preferably Siemens S7. Familiarity with automated materials handling systems and ability to work at heights using harnesses and training programs are also beneficial.

Benefits and Salary
The successful candidate can anticipate a salary of approximately £44,000 per annum, complemented by comprehensive healthcare and pension plans. A continental shift pattern ensures a balanced work-life schedule, with 7 full days off every 28 days.
