About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a lively and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality educational support to SEN students, fostering their academic growth and emotional well-being.
  • To work closely with the teaching staff, contributing to lesson planning and delivery, and adapting resources to meet individual student needs.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communication with parents/guardians, as required.

Requirements:

  • Possession of relevant qualifications, experience, and training in working with SEN students.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, embracing new approaches and technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

Working Environment:

This role is based in Pilning, South Gloucestershire, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team while developing your skills and expertise in SEN education.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated annual salary of £21,000 - £23,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.72 - £12.78 per hour.
