Educational Therapist for Students with SEN

We are seeking an experienced Educational Therapist to join our team at MLK Education Search. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Whetstone, London.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and support.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents and carers.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns.
- Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Qualified to degree level or above in a relevant field (e.g., special education, educational psychology).
- QTS in the UK or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with students with SEN, including those with neurodiverse conditions and SEMH.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
