Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at McBride. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless production processes and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
- Interface with maintenance planners and stores personnel to ensure timely provision of spare parts and materials.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Engineering skills obtained through a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent (NVQ Level 3).
- Multi-skilled with proven basic electrical competency.
- Continuous improvement and root cause analysis skills.
- Literate and numerate (GCSE level English and Maths or equivalent desirable).
- Ability to interpret documentation in English Language.
- Experience in food FMCG or equivalent process industry.
