Job Title: Tour Operations Coordinator

Miki Travel Europe is seeking a skilled Tour Operations Coordinator to join our Asia Coordination team in our Destinations Management Business Division.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of travel itineraries and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist Asian tour groups traveling across Europe, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Liaise with clients, tour leaders, and suppliers in Asia to coordinate the logistics and services of group tours.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, LDC, and Hotel departments to ensure smooth tour operations.
  • Book and amend services, negotiating favourable rates to support business objectives.
  • Meet and greet clients and tour leaders, and accompany key groups when necessary.
  • Ensure rail tickets for tours are delivered to hotels or local offices as required.
  • Negotiate compensation with tour leaders and suppliers to minimize losses and maximize profit margins.
  • Provide support for the Joibus project, including responding to online customer queries.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • High levels of organisation and accuracy.
  • Able to deliver and perform under pressure.
  • Technical aptitude with an ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to drive results through others.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of European destinations.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Additional knowledge of any other European/Asian languages.
  • Experience in day to day operations in travel business.
