About the Role

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced Deputy Theatre Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supporting the theatre manager in the day-to-day operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the theatre team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient theatre operations.
  • Assist the theatre manager in the planning and implementation of theatre schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Spire Healthcare Ltd's standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of strategies to improve patient outcomes and theatre efficiency.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse or ODP with a valid pin and no restrictions on practice.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a theatre setting, with previous leadership experience in a Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader capacity.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience across a wide range of specialities and flexibility in supporting the theatre team where required.
