As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing store management teams to deliver on sales, profit, and compliance targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement area business opportunities to drive sales and profit growth through competitor analysis.
- Deliver and manage financial targets for the area.
- Manage internal processes, procedures, and compliance for the area.
- Identify and deliver business process improvements to enhance operational execution and manage risk.
- Monitor area performance, analyze trends, and report on business performance.
- Generate and analyze reports to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement customer service initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
- Drive store expansion growth targets to deliver convenience to customers.
- Implement the people strategy to develop pharmacy and professional skills.
- Support the regions retention strategy to sustain staffing needs.
- Bachelor of Commerce degree or diploma in retail/finance management, pharmacy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an area management role within a retail store operations environment.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Pharmacy experience required.
- Retail, financial, and risk management expertise.
- Business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead teams.
- Persuading and presenting skills.
- Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
