Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Clicks Group Limited.
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing store management teams to deliver on sales, profit, and compliance targets.
Your key responsibilities will include implementing area business opportunities, managing financial targets, and delivering internal processes and procedures.
You will also be responsible for identifying and escalating business process improvements, monitoring area performance, and generating and analyzing reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in retail operations, financial management, and pharmacy experience.
You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct store management teams to deliver on sales, profit, and compliance targets.
- Implement area business opportunities to gain market differentiation and drive sales and profit growth.
- Manage financial targets, including budgets, profit and loss statements, and financial ratios.
- Deliver and manage internal processes and procedures, including pharmacy operations.
- Identify and escalate business process improvements to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor area performance, identify trends, and report on business performance.
- Generate and analyze reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as retail management or pharmacy.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an area management role within a retail store operations environment.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Pharmacy experience and knowledge of pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team.
