Zest Business Group is currently seeking a highly skilled Optical Area Sales Director to manage and grow the optometry business in Northern England.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales excellence across the product portfolio, developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, and creating clear and effective stakeholder maps per account.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Account Management: Develop individual customer plans which lead to win-win solutions for both the customer and the organisation.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with decision makers, influencers, and access generators to enhance partnership working.
  • Data Analysis: Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date customer records and utilise this data for planning and reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in the optical industry.
  • ABPI qualification.
  • A flexible and 'can-do' attitude to thrive in a fast-growing company.
Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000, plus a bonus scheme of up to 15-20% of salary. You will also be entitled to a company car or car allowance.
