Customer Service Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to join our team at Jark PLC in Worcester. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process new orders by phone and email, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions to their queries.
  • Take card payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Follow up on sales leads and new customer enquiries, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Deal with all customer service issues, including resolving complaints and concerns.
  • Liaise with the accounts department to rectify outstanding account queries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Raise paperwork for returned items and provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide general administrative support as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the customer service team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
