Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Admissions Team Leader to join our team at Spire Healthcare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of administrators and ensuring the smooth operation of patient admissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of administrators to achieve operational excellence and drive performance improvement.
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of patient admissions, including scheduling, bookings, and pre-op assessments.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assessments and provide feedback to the team to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Workforce Planning: Plan and manage the workforce to meet activity demands and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient admissions and administrative tasks.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Patient Admissions Manager, Director of Shared Services, SMT, and HoDs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Delegation: Deputize for the Patient Admissions Manager in their absence and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Operational Experience: Experience in healthcare operations, patient admissions, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
