At Bank of China, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Associate to join our team. As an Associate - Customer Service - Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and business development within the Banking department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in marketing activities to achieve business development targets
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers and maintain customer relationships
  • Liaise with branches to develop cross-border business
  • Process account opening applications
  • Handle cash and other related duties as a cashier at closed counters
  • Carry out client onboarding processes and conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB) checks
  • Complete CDD files for new clients
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Assist with business, statistical, AML, internal audit, and compliance requirements reports
  • Act as cover for other staff members within the Banking department when required

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or marketing is advantageous
  • Experience in banking with exposure to retail banking is preferred
  • Knowledge of banking operations
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements for financial crime disciplines
  • Solid data analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
