We are seeking a Female Wake Night Support Worker to join our team in Ilford, Essex.

As a Female Wake Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional care to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and mental health issues.

You will work as part of a team to provide high-quality care, supporting service users with daily tasks, social events, and maintaining accurate records.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for working with vulnerable adults.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality.
  • Support service users with meal preparation, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as required.
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion to work with vulnerable adults.
  • Desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
