About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at our Ilford home. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to young people, including key working and daily living activities.
  • Work in partnership with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure their needs are met.
  • Coordinate and monitor care plans, ensuring that young people receive the best possible support.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
  • Administer medication and provide personal care as required.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with young people and their families.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to build resilience and confidence.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people in an Ofsted-regulated environment.
  • Level 3 Diploma or above in a relevant field.
  • Enhanced DBS check and update service.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Smart and agile, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
