About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled quantitative epidemiologist with expertise in statistical analysis to join our research network.

The successful candidate will conduct advanced statistical analyses of large, complex epidemiological data sets from biobanks. They will use methodologies including methods for dealing with missing data, longitudinal data techniques, and causal inference approaches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting statistical analysis of epidemiological data using Stata or R
  • Writing up results for academic and non-academic dissemination
  • Collaborating with project partners and contributing to the development of research protocols
  • Supporting patient and public involvement and engagement

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a research project that seeks to understand the impact of childhood adversity on anxiety. The role would suit a researcher with a strong background in epidemiology, applied statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • A PhD (or working towards) in epidemiology, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced quantitative skills, experience of analysing large, complex epidemiological data sets, and excellent written and oral communication skills

Compensation Package

The salary for this role is £42,632 - £47,874 per annum (pro rata if part-time), plus a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
