About Us

The Haematological Malignancy Research Network is an interdisciplinary research group seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team.

The successful candidate will conduct statistical analysis of large, complex epidemiological data sets from prospective longitudinal cohort studies and biobanks. They will use advanced statistical methodologies, including methods for dealing with missing data, longitudinal data techniques, and causal inference approaches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting statistical analysis of epidemiological data using Stata or R
  • Writing up results for academic and non-academic dissemination
  • Collaborating with project partners and contributing to the development of research protocols
  • Supporting patient and public involvement and engagement

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a Wellcome-funded project that seeks to understand the impact of childhood adversity on anxiety. The role would suit a researcher with a strong background in epidemiology, applied statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • A PhD (or working towards) in epidemiology, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced quantitative skills, experience of analysing large, complex epidemiological data sets, and excellent written and oral communication skills

Salary Information

The salary for this role is £42,632 - £47,874 per annum (pro rata if part-time), plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
