The Opportunity:
Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
The Role and Your Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Process orders and sample requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with the commercial department to resolve out-of-stock issues and special requests.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delays or problems and provide regular updates.
- Collaborate with the accounts department and sales managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate credit limits.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork on a daily basis.
- Adhere to all general office procedures and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on country profiles and export documentation to ensure seamless international transactions.
- Dispatch sampling materials as instructed by sales managers.
- Provide sales information to sales managers as requested.
- Develop a strong understanding of export markets and work closely with the team to provide expert knowledge.
- Provide assistance and support to team members as needed.
- Take ownership of learning and improving product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in exporting products to overseas markets, including shipping and export documentation.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in export customer service.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Organized and proactive with a team-oriented approach.
