Job Summary:The Buyer/Supply Chain Executive will play a vital role in maintaining our supply chain, direct and indirect procurement, and associated disciplines. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement part supply strategies that meet internal customer needs while minimizing costs.
- Prioritize and act timely to raise purchase orders against demand defined through MRP/LOD, counter shortages, and RFP for direct and indirect procurement.
- Forge strong relationships with suppliers to promote flexibility, quality, cost reduction, and on-time in full (OTIF) delivery.
- Identify and act on key supply issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data.
- Proven experience in a supply chain environment with sound commercial knowledge.
- Knowledge of standard costs and formal benchmarking techniques and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders.
