At Plug Me In, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support our dynamic Procurement team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit Requests for Quote (RFQs) to obtain competitive pricing and gather data from suppliers.
  • Place and track orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
  • Analyse costs and report any variances to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Lead to identify and manage new suppliers.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with suppliers under the guidance of the Purchasing Lead.
  • Support the warehouse team to meet installation project needs.
  • Provide back-office support to fitters, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential
    • A good standard of education (GCSEs including English & Maths or equivalent).
    • Proven experience in procurement or a related field.
