Specialist EMDR Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced EMDR Counsellor/Therapist to join our team at Platfform, a system change and social justice focused organization. This role is part of our Swansea hub team, working collaboratively with the Western Bay's Health Board's Substance Use systems to develop trauma-informed approaches.
The Swansea team is comprised of a Service Coordinator, Assistant Psychologist, 1-2 Counsellors, 1 Specialist EMDR Therapist, and a Wellbeing coach. As part of the team, the EMDR Therapist will work alongside the team to support individuals in a person-led, strengths-based way, prioritizing their goals and needs. This role will involve working with the practitioner psychologist and rest of the team to carry out assessments, facilitate team formulation sessions, and deliver interventions. Additionally, the EMDR Therapist will work with the system, including the MDT, to provide EMDR therapy and support the evaluation process and data collection.
