About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housing Assistant to join our team at Maidment Court in Poole. As a Housing Assistant, you will provide a tailored, resident-focused housing management service, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage housing allocations and tenancies, ensuring compliance with MHA's policies and procedures.
  • Provide value-added customer service, responding to resident queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and implement housing management plans, prioritizing resident needs and ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of estate management and community focus initiatives, enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in housing management or a related field, with a strong understanding of housing policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and ability to use computer software effectively.
