Housing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Housing Assistant to join our team at Methodist Homes. In this role, you will provide a tailored, resident-focused housing management service for different tenures within a designated housing scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Provide value-added customer service in accordance with Methodist Homes' policies and procedures in the areas of Allocations, Housing management and Finance, Estate Management and Community Focus.
- Manage financial plans and budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong organizational skills, including planning, prioritizing, report writing, and record keeping.
- Understand the impact of housing on individuals' health and wellbeing, and provide support accordingly.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, using strong written and verbal skills.
- Utilize Microsoft products to manage tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Listen actively and respond thoughtfully to residents' needs and concerns.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Read and understand instructions, and take initiative to complete tasks as required.
- Display sensitivity and empathy when interacting with older people, recognizing their unique needs and circumstances.
