Job Title: Wellbeing Coordinator - Prison Setting

We are seeking a highly skilled Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team in a prison setting. As a Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for training prisoners to provide care and support to their peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train prisoners to National Care Standards, adapted for use in prison
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to equip prisoners with the skills and knowledge to provide care and support
  • Work with prisoners to identify their health and social care needs and develop plans to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with prison staff to ensure the effective delivery of care and support services

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a prison or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of health and social care principles and practices
  • Ability to train and develop others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
