**SURFACING SUPERVISOR WANTED TO JOIN OUR TEAM**

**Position**: Permanent

**Rate Of Pay**: Competitive

Due to healthy business expansion, a great opportunity has arisen for a permanent position within our surfacing division.

Multipave is a privately owned business, providing Road Surfacing and Civils Engineering services to a wide range of clients predominantly the Northwest.

You will be involved in a wide variety of surfacing projects from National Highways motorway and trunk road schemes (areas 10 &13), Local Authority highway schemes, network rail and commercial contracts.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Line Management responsibility and supervision of operatives for all surfacing works and maintenance related activities.
- Communicating effectively daily with gang/ Foreman by carrying out daily briefings and through on-site presence
- Responding to and ensuring the onsite operations are coordinated efficiently and professionally within the required timescales in conjunction with the client.
- Organisation of resources to ensure an efficient service, whilst maintaining the highest standard of Health and Safety for all employees and stakeholders.
- To ensure all employees carry out their duties according to the company handbook & Company policies.
- Ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to by site operatives at all times, whilst assisting our SHEQ manager with Accident/Incident investigations.

**Experience/skills required**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within the surfacing industry
- SSSTS - Preferable
- CSCS card - Required
- NVQ Level 6 (Preferable)
- Full UK Driving Licence - Required
- A good communicator
- A team leader
- Good organisation skills
