A career-defining opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a team of pharmacists and counter staff at one of our client's pharmacies in Newbury. As a key member of the management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the pharmacy's vision and strategy, ensuring exceptional patient care and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will possess a Pharmacy Degree, be passionate about leading and empowering teams, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme. In addition, you will complete a DBS check organized by the client before employment.

As a Pharmacy Manager, your primary responsibilities will include supplying prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You will also play an active role in the charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Furthermore, you will lead, train, and develop colleagues, utilize a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
