Job Description

Compact Security Services Limited is seeking a confident and experienced SIA Licensed Security Staff to join our Night Time Economy team working in various night time venues within Manchester City Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service for visitor arrival and departure at the venue.
  • Search visitors and bags on entry to the venue in accordance with company/venue policies.
  • Gain a clear understanding of venue-specific policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer movements and behaviour externally and internally, identifying potential issues or incidents and reporting them or taking necessary action.
  • Understand venue-specific emergency procedures and safety checks.
  • Maintain a professional presentation and welcoming attitude to visitors and other colleagues.
  • Deal with incidents or disruptions in an appropriate and professional manner, including refusal of entry or requests to leave the premises.
  • Monitor licensable areas within the venue.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Confident and professional with a high standard of personal presentation.
  • Previous security experience in a similar role.
  • A valid front-line SIA Licence is essential for this role.
  • Provide documentation at interview demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK and unrestricted right to work in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  • 5-year checkable work history, including school, further education, and unemployment.
