**Job Title:** Security Officer - Nights
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Global Banking School. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, students, and visitors on campus.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and control access to campus premises, including monitoring CCTV and access control systems.
- Provide a high level of customer service to staff, students, and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
- Compile accurate incident reports and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- **Essential Qualifications:**
- Door Supervisor License - SIA door supervisor
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Knowledge of security techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures
The Security Officer will work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays. The role will require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to respond to emergencies and incidents as required.
The Security Officer will be required to wear a uniform and to maintain a high level of personal presentation and hygiene.
The Security Officer will be required to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and to be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
