Front of House Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front of House Manager to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential care home.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day activities of non-direct care staff, including activities, administration, maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen staff.
- Coordinate the rota to ensure the correct number of staff are on duty at all times and minimize the need for agency staff.
- Handle telephone duties, including responding to inquiries and managing incoming calls.
- Assist with kitchen and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the relevant teams.
- Complete ordering for cleaning and food supplies through approved apps and manage budgets accordingly.
- Support the onboarding process for new staff, including scheduling induction days and setting up necessary systems.
- Maintain accurate records of staff files and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular supervisions and competencies for team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with rota adjustments, clocking in issues, and lateness reporting.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee information, including sickness dates, new starter information, and documentation.
- Attend staff meetings and hold team meetings as necessary.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in relevant training.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation, ensuring a safe working environment.
