Front of House Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Wood Care Group as a Front of House Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our home.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day activities of non-direct care related staff, including activities, admin, maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen staff.
- Ensure a positive experience for visitors, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Handle telephone duties, respond to emails, and perform general administrative tasks.
- Liaise with the Head Office Accounts Team regarding fees, admissions, and occupancy.
- Manage staff rotas, reducing the need for agency usage and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Report any low performance to the manager or HR.
- Assist with kitchen and cleaning tasks as required.
- Report any broken equipment through the portal or appropriate channels.
- Complete ordering for cleaning and food through apps, staying within budget.
- Assist with onboarding new starters, scheduling induction days, and setting up on Care Control.
- Ensure staff files are uploaded, stored, and managed correctly.
- Complete supervisions and competencies for your team, delivering feedback.
- Assist management with rota adjustments, clocking in issues, and lateness reporting.
- Support HR with employee information, sickness dates, new starter information, and documentation.
- Attend staff meetings and hold them for your team as needed.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation, working in a safe environment.
