Job Title: Front of House Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front of House Manager to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front of house team, including activities, administration, maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen staff.
  • Coordinate the rota to ensure the correct number of staff are on duty at all times and minimize the need for agency staff.
  • Handle telephone duties, including responding to inquiries and managing visitor experiences.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
  • Manage the ordering of cleaning and food supplies, staying within budget.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff, scheduling induction days, and setting up on Care Control and Correct Care.
  • Complete supervisions and competencies for the team and provide feedback.
  • Assist with rota adjustments, clocking in issues, and lateness reporting.
  • Support HR with employee information, including sickness dates, new starter information, and documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Attend staff meetings and hold them for the team as needed.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
  • Handle money and manage the home's finances.
