Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at H.W. Martin Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring environmental compliance and maintaining high standards across our operational locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that safe working practices and Health and Safety legislation are adhered to and liaise with our Health and Safety Professionals to ensure full compliance with all company and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure that essential Compliance tasks are completed in the agreed timeframes.
  • Comply with policies and procedures, ensuring data quality with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of the Management team and develop a commercial awareness of business activity and the bottom line.
  • Achieve performance targets as agreed with the Compliance & Special Projects Manager and report progress as agreed and in person on a timely basis.
  • Develop and progress by working collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve Company objectives and individual targets.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with the Line Manager, colleagues, sub-contractors, and site users.
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
Requirements
  • CoTC qualification (desirable but not essential; related experience/skills considered).
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility for travel between sites.
