Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Inverness. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage personnel, budgets, and project planning.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring they meet client expectations and minimize risks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project financials, ensuring departments are working within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and Health and Safety documentation.
  • Generate and submit project-related documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, or Mechatronics degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering EC&I projects.
  • Experience in delivering projects to a high standard.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • ECS H&S card.
  • First Aid certification.
