Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at ManpowerGroup. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of new engineering terminals, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the design of new engineering terminals and manage contractors to maintain safety standards.
- Protect the company from prosecution by competent authorities, such as HSE and SEPA, by ensuring compliance with regulations and industry legislation.
- Organize tank and pipework inspections within specified timeframes, following EEMUA and API rules.
- Assess and follow up on recommendations resulting from inspections, and set up engineering projects, including negotiating costs.
- Carry out site inspections to assess work required to maintain standards, and arrange major maintenance requirements, such as painting and tank inspections.
- Attend site for duration to supervise contractors, and assist with oil loss investigation and explanations.
- Compile local plant procedures and emergency procedures, and arrange training for plant work, such as quayside work and confined space entry.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
