As a Project Engineer at ManpowerGroup, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our terminals and engineering projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the design of new engineering terminals and manage contractors to maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and conduct tank and pipework inspections within the specified time period, adhering to EEMUA and API rules.
- Assess and follow up on recommendations resulting from inspections, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to maintain standards.
- Set up engineering projects, including negotiating costs and arranging major maintenance requirements such as painting and tank inspections.
- Carry out site inspections to assess work that may be required to maintain standards, including organizing meter proving and plant hose testing at various sites.
- Assist with oil loss investigation and explanations, and compile local plant procedures along with emergency procedures.
- Arrange training for plant work, such as quayside work and confined space entry, and operate a system of work control procedures to ensure the safe working of all tasks and projects.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
