Support Worker for Older Adults

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker for Older Adults. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents at Woodside Home for Older People.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to provide exceptional care and support to older adults and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of older adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to combat feelings of loneliness.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement support plans that meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements:
  • A caring and patient nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
