Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Yard Operative to join our team at Conquip Engineering Group. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing equipment for washing, as well as ensuring the highest standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and prepare equipment for washing by removing necessary components
  2. Jet wash equipment to a suitable standard
  3. Ensure all health and safety standards are upheld
  4. Complete tasks within target time frames
  5. Operate basic computer systems to complete tasks
  6. Load and unload vehicles
  7. Manage stock and inventory
  8. Work flexibly to meet business needs
  9. Conduct regular stock takes and depot transfers
  10. Assess and report on equipment requiring refurbishment
  11. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
  12. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business goals
  13. Comply with all Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience using a forklift
  • A valid driving license
  • The ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Excellent health and safety skills
