Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Yard Operative to join our team at Conquip Engineering Group in Hook, Hampshire. As a key member of our yard operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing equipment for washing, as well as ensuring the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and preparing equipment for washing by removing necessary components
  • Jet washing equipment to a suitable standard
  • Ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld
  • Completing tasks within target time frames
  • Spraying equipment as required
  • Basic computer work to complete tasks
  • Picking orders
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Yard management and stock control
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Regular stock takes and depot transfers
  • Assessing and reporting on equipment requiring refurbishment
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
  • Working in a team and promoting a positive team attitude
  • Complying with Health & Safety requirements

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm. The successful candidate will have previous experience using a forklift and hold a valid driving license. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum.
