Job Title: Fire Alarm Design Engineer

Protec Fire Detection PLC is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Design Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to work within our post order Design Engineering team (Infrastructure Projects), collaborating with project delivery teams to produce design deliverables in line with project programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the post order design process from sales handover to completion, ensuring all documentation/drawings/calculations are produced/recorded and reported in line with company standards.
  • Implement Company design procedures with relevant stakeholders, ensuring a full understanding of scope documents and system design compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Represent the Company consistently and positively to customers, maintaining effective communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored, and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
  • Develop comprehensive Life Safety System designs for complex major projects, working closely with regional Project Managers.
  • Have previous design experience and technical understanding of fire and security related systems, with a proven ability to professionally document, illustrate, and present detailed fire and security system designs.
