About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Midwife to join our Core Birth Centre team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women and their families, promoting normality and supporting choice in place of birth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert midwifery care to women and their families, including low-risk intrapartum care in community settings.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Participate in the on-call system for the birth centre, providing 24/7 coverage.
- Support the development of midwives and students, promoting evidence-based practice.

Person Specification
- Registered Midwife (RM) and eligible to practice.
- Evidence of further study and development of professional and academic skills.
- Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents with awareness of implications to service provision.
- Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development.
