About the Role
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled midwife to join our core team at the Maidstone Birth Centre. As a midwife-led care professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and pregnant people in a low-risk intrapartum setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care for women and pregnant people.
- Provide low-risk intrapartum care in a community setting.
- Participate in the on-call system for the birth centre.
Requirements
- Registered Midwife (RM) and eligible to practice.
- Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents with awareness of implications to service provision.
- Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development.
